You’re right — there are many wonderful classic wine bars in Paris. Le Rubis is a particular favorite — in fact, my husband and I have been friends with the owners for over twenty years. I should have been more clear in the article, but I was actually comparing these new wine bars with wine service in restaurants, or fine dining establishments.
