On the Radio with Peter Greenberg, The Travel Detective

On the occasion of the opening of the new Peninsula Hotel in Paris this summer, American radio and television personality Peter Greenberg, aka The Travel Detective, invited me to be one of his radio guests in order to talk about the best approach to visiting Paris.

During the several minutes of the interview (conducted by phone since I was traveling) we talked about touring in Paris and about the search for the best Parisian macaroons and for great chocolate. We agreed that over-planning can diminish the rewards of travel.

The show aired on the radio on November 1, 2014 and can now be heard in podcast. Also on the guest list for the program were Nicolas Beliard, Roger Dow, Isabelle Garnerone, Mike Hilton, John Keahay, Pauline Wong Lemasson, Alec Lobrano, Alexandra Marshall and Grant Rosenberg. A brief bio of each them appears here.

You can listen to the full podcast by clicking on the audio tab toward the bottom of the page found here. The interview with me lasts for a few minutes beginning at 18’58” but for Paris lovers it’s all worth a listen.

Enjoy the show.
